Training and Assessment Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated Training and Assessment Specialist to join an Australian wholesale distribution and marketing company. They operate primarily in the grocery, liquor, and hardware industries, supplying goods to independent retail outlets across Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment in a warehouse logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality training and assessment to maximise learning and ensure a positive experience.
- Foster an engaging, interactive, and enjoyable learning environment, addressing individual learning needs, providing prompt feedback, and closely monitoring participant progress.
- Complete Verification of Competency assessments.
- Provide post-training support to warehouse teams.
- Adhere to all relevant company standards, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Plan learning and assessment engagement, ensuring punctuality and thorough preparation for all sessions.
- Complete and submit accurate administration and training records within required timeframes.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement in course delivery and processes.
- Remain vigilant and report any potential WHS issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in delivering training in a blue-collar, warehouse logistics environment.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise work schedules.
- Focus on participant engagement and learning outcomes.
- Proficiency in standard computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Own reliable transport and valid Driver's License.
Additional Requirements:
- Completion of a police check and medical assessment prior to commencing employment.
