Trainer And Assessor – Business Services Training Package

Lexis Training Centres (LT) as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) forms part of the International Lexis Group that provides language training to thousands of students from more than fifty countries every year. At Lexis Training we provide participants with an opportunity to study Vocational Education qualifications that are nationally recognised throughout Australia.  We pride ourselves on offering quality training options to suit the English Language industry, as well as Business, Cookery and Hospitality,  and Beauty courses.

Lexis Training is expanding and is looking for experienced Business trainers to join the team. 

Main responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• face to face delivery, on campus
• meeting with students to develop training plans
• participate in validation and moderation sessions
• develop or contextualise assessments
• mark assessments and provide feedback 
• collaborate with other trainers across Lexis Training campuses

Skills and Experience to succeed in this role

Must be able to deliver one or more of the below qualifications

BSB30120 Certificate III in Business

BSB40120 Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication

BSB40320 Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business

BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management

BSB50120 Diploma of Business

BSB50620 Diploma of Marketing and Communication

BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management

BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business

BSB60420 Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management

BSB60720 Advanced Diploma of Program Management

Have experience in face-to-face delivery

Have a proven record of students engagement 

Have at least 1 year experience in contextualising assessments

About you

You are confident, an out of the frame thinker with the ability to engage and retain your students

You are self-motivated, have attention to detail and are resourceful

You are reliable, enthusiastic and committed to quality

You have currency in Vocational Education and Training and in the Industry

Must be willing to undertake professional development and complete a trainer currency matrix prior to commencement

Highly desirable

• Experience in international education
• Have a sound understand of Learning Management systems
• Used Canvas as a LMS

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or Diploma/higher level qualification in VET education
• Must hold currency in the units delivered
