We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated FIFO Trainer and Assessor to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview: As a FIFO Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to our employees on-site. Your expertise will ensure that our workforce is competent, confident, and compliant with all relevant standards and regulations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback to trainees.
- Ensure all training materials and assessments are up-to-date and meet regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of training and assessment activities.
- Collaborate with site management to identify training needs and develop tailored training solutions.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Travel to various sites on a FIFO roster basis.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
- Relevant industry qualifications and experience in the mining/resources sector.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar training and assessment role.
- 12 months previous FIFO experience.
- MUST have experience operating the excavator and dozer.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current driver’s license and the ability to travel on a FIFO roster.
Desirable:
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- First Aid Certification.
- Additional certifications relevant to the mining/resources sector.
- RIO Inducted.
