Skills Australia Institute (SAI) is a Registered Training Organization with our Head Office in Cannington WA and a campus in Adelaide SA. We provide quality education to both local and international students in various qualifications, ranging from Business, Childcare, Cookery, Construction and Automotive.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Training and Compliance Co-Ordinator for an immediate start to join our Compliance team. In this role you will be required to support the administrative and Compliance functions of the RTO. You will work across the Compliance and Student Services departments to ensure processes and procedures are implemented and monitored. You will report to the Training and Compliance Manager.
This role will be full-time Monday to Friday, based at our Cannington Campus. We have free on-site parking for Staff, are close to Carousel and opposite the Cannington Train Station location.
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role you must:
- Have experience working in similar roles in RTO Compliance.
- Have experience in the operation of Compliance Systems for an RTO.
- Have experience in using ebecas student management system, or similar platforms.
- Can implement knowledge and understanding of the Standards for RTO’s 2015.
- Be able to work autonomously, while understanding the need for team work to achieve goals in a highly regulated environment.
- Be process driven with excellent attention to detail, ensuring compliance requirements are always adhered to.
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management software.
- Be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have sound ability to work with systems and technology.
- Be results orientated.
Key duties of the role include:
This role comprises of both training staff and implementation of compliance of which they may work as stand alone or combined components. You will:
- Work with the Training and Compliance Manager to ensure that the RTO is compliant with all requirements set by the VET training regulator (ASQA).
- Implement policies and procedures and monitor workflow to ensure processes are followed. This will include training staff and being able to interpret and communicate the requirements of the Standards in plain English
- Assist with the development of Training and assessment tools.
- Assist with the review of competency matrices.
- Assist with preparation and recording of validation activities.
- Provide support in key administration tasks as required
About You:
- Relevant diploma or tertiary (minimum Cert IV Training & Assessment).
- minimum 3 yrs demonstrated success within a Training Co-Ordinator/ Compliance role
- Knowledge of Standards for RTO’s
- excellent communication skills with the ability to engage various stakeholders
- a high level of computer literacy, in particular Microsoft Office 365 & LMS/SMS programs.
- Strong time management skills to balance priorities & meet deadlines
