About our opportunity
We are seeking an experienced training/Development Officer to develop and deliver training packages to new officers within our Local Laws and Public Health and Permits Branch at Caboolture. There will also be refresher training that will be required to be delivered from time to time.
Reporting directly to the Business Systems and Improvement Lead, you will work closely with the Local Laws and Public Health Permits teams to develop, deliver, support and contribute to various training programs, these will include inductions, cyclical and mandatory training.
An important part of your role will involve working closely with leaders, to improve individual and team capability as well as collaborating with stakeholders to review business processes that will enhance service improvements for our Department and the community.
In this role, you will also provide support to Branch leaders with various recruitment and onboarding activities.
About you
Are you passionate about training with the ability to produce quality outputs under time pressure?
Our team will look to you for your expertise in developing and delivering training sessions, both in person and online. You will bring your knowledge of quality assurance methodologies to assist in the review of processes and improvements.
With your well developed interpersonal and communication skills, you’ll have the ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or equivalent experience in a Local Government Customer Service environment would be well regarded.
