Talent International is searching for an experienced Training and Communication Manager to join our client, A State Government Department based in Brisbane CBD on an 4 Month Contract + Likely Extensions.

The role:
You will deliver training and communication materials to users throughout the client to support ITS initiatives and education campaigns.
You will also be responsible for assisting the Organisational Change Manager to work with business units impacted by change to understand training needs, develop training and other communication materials to support the delivery of training and ongoing use of the system.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design of multi-channel and inclusive learning and communication strategies for a diverse range of clients of varying levels of digital competency.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders including the ability to influence leadership teams in the successful management of change by the transfer of business and/or technical skills and knowledge.
- Develop end user products and communication materials including end user training guides, instruction manuals, online training modules and job aids to facilitate effective, consistent and informative client service delivery.
- Undertake the design, development, scheduling and delivery of training, using a blended model that includes individual instruction, facilitated training, workshops, online training material and system demonstrations.
Requirements:
- Contribute to project management activities in relation to implementing and managing change. This would include impact analysis, planning, resource development, business readiness, training, and communications for successful implementation of change.
- Perform ongoing evaluation and assessment of training and communications quality and effectiveness and modify material and methodology where required.
- Coordinate and obtain the necessary resources required to deliver training and development activities within agreed timeframes and to specified outcomes, including negotiating with vendors or HR organizational development practitioners.
- Identify and report on risks and issues relating to organisational change impacts that may require communication or training intervention.
- Performs other essential duties and tasks specific to the position as would be reasonably required.
