Training And Professional Development Officer

About the position

The Training and Professional Development Officer is responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day requirements of the Learning and Development function. The role is required to undertake the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of development programs and activities, as well as provide specialist advice to staff and leaders regarding career development needs. This new position will assist individual employees in their career development with Council thus making this both a rewarding and highly important position within our team. In this role you will have the support of our Human Resources Coordinator.

About you

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Training and Development
• Degree qualification in Human Resource Management or related equivalent qualification and/or experience (desirable)
• Demonstrated experience and/or capability to deliver the Job Specific Key Accountabilities (outlined in the Position Description).
• Demonstrated Advanced key capabilities as defined in the Key Capabilities Table (outlined in Position Description).

• Permanent Full-time employment, 35 hours per week
• Salary from $75,670 to $85,018 per year (depending on qualifications, skills and experience) plus 11% superannuation
