The RoleWe are currently seeking an Apprenticeship and Traineeship Training Coordinator to join our Group Training Organisation to assist in managing our NETTS Program based in Perth. The NETTS Program is a collaborative Apprenticeship Program in the Energy Industry, working with some of Australia's leading operators.
Reporting to the Energy Training Manager, your primary focus will be to manage the training and development of the apprentices and trainees, as well as to develop and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders, training providers and state training services.
This role will suit an individual who is self-motivated and is passionate about providing quality training and employment to apprentices and trainees.
Key Responsibilities- Fostering and maintaining effective relationships with Energy companies, schools and VET Coordinators
- Development and maintenance of relationships with key client stakeholders, trainees and apprentices, training providers, state training services, and apprenticeship centres
- Delivery of awareness session to school students and community groups about the opportunities on offer
- Management of training and safety culture to produce highly skilled and motivated operators and tradespeople
- Management of Trainees and Apprentices which includes:
- Pastoral Care – ongoing coaching, mentoring and support to all trainees and apprentices
- Monitoring Training Progression with both the apprentice and trainee and Training Provider
- Performance Reviews, Management and Disciplinary Counselling
- Ongoing Recruitment and Induction of new apprentices and trainees
- Occupational Health and Safety management of Trainees and Apprentices within the workplace
- Completion of Workplace Risk Assessments
- General Administration including reporting, timesheets and data entry
- Compliance to Client Contractual Requirements and achievement of KPI’s
- Compliance to the National Group Training Standards
- State Government Apprentice & Trainee Awards
- Programmed Reward & Recognition Programs
