Risk Management Group Central supports the effective and efficient operation of the Risk Management Group by providing centralised services for strategy, data management, analytics, change, projects, and learning and development in the Risk Management Group. Risk Management Group Central also establishes and oversees the key risk management framework elements, and supports Macquarie-wide risk training.

What role will you play?
Reporting to the Head of People Engagement you will have the specific remit of managing Risk Training, leading a global team of 5 across each region. You will review, develop and implement consistent training frameworks and processes to ensure the successful delivery globally across the Risk division. You will also provide direction to each regional Training Lead to effectively engage staff through training on key risk and compliance issues within that region and ensure regulatory training requirements are met globally, as well as develop methods to assess training effectiveness.

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include behavioural risk, compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk and governance, prudential risk, and Risk Management Group central.
