The Key focus of the role of Training and Project Office is provide training and support within our Print 35 business, allowing people with disabilities to fulfil meaningful work opportunities. Important aspects of this role will include;
Providing individualized Employment Plans for supported employees, making regular reviews of NDIS plans and individual goals and associated reporting
Designing and implementing a variety of group and individual training modules
Be a key point of liaison for parents and carers of supported employees.
Working closely with the Employment and Training Manager, the Training & Project Officer will be required to demonstrate a high level of initiative in managing challenging behaviours in adults with a disability and/or psychosocial disability.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:
Be passionate about enabling people with intellectual disabilities to live a fulfilling and inclusive life
Have skills and experience in training, development and behaviour management with adults with disability and psychosocial disability
Be able to work in a dynamic environment and coordinate multiple activities at one time.
A Diploma in Community Services as a minimum would be highly desireable.
