QTSM Plumbing and Drainage is looking to hire a Contract Administrator to manage contracts, procurement and project administration.
Job Description
As a Contract Administrator, you will play a key role in: managing contracts, procurement and project administration, while also assisting management in project oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage contracts and subcontracts
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of contract terms and conditions to protect the interests of the company
- Oversee procurement and supplier relationships
- Monitor project budgets and expenses
- Coordinate with team and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to agreements
- Maintain organised project documentation
- Risk mitigation and upholding WHS regulations
- Act as a point of contact for inquiries and satisfaction
- Assist management in quoting (on site presence required), overall oversight and reporting
Essential Criteria:
- Appropriate Qualifications such as: CERT IV In Building Project Support (Contract Administration), BA of Engineering (Civil), BA of Construction Management or BA of Law.
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator in the Plumbing and Construction Industry
- Exceptional negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of relevant plumbing and construction regulations and contract law
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem solving-solving and analytical skills
- Diligent in WHS and Quality Assurance guidelines and regulations
