Job Description
Under the limited direction of the Training Quality Assurance and Systems Coordinator:

  • Coordinates, administers and maintains the department’s student management system (SMS) and learning management system (LMS).
  • Monitors the quality, accuracy and entry of reportable training information stored in the SMS.
  • Oversees the keeping of records and reports on statistical information relating to use of the LMS.
  • Researches, tests and provides advice on improving system user experiences.
Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the following four (4) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than three (3) pages in total. * Sound knowledge of Training Systems, system integration including the management of training data in a Vocational Education and Training (VET) context.
  • Significant experience in the administration, development and coordination of student and learning management systems and evidence of capacity to develop innovative solutions to configuration and integration. Experience with VETtrak (or similar AVETMISS compliant student management software) will be highly regarded.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills including an ability to develop and train others in systems related documentation (i.e. procedures, guides and forms).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Office 365, SharePoint and other software relevant to information analysis and data management.
