Under the limited direction of the Training Quality Assurance and Systems Coordinator:
Manages and maintains system configuration, enhancements, integrations, versioning, and high-level reporting for the department's learning management system (LMS) and student management system (SMS) in partnership with SaaS (Software as a Service) vendors.
Manages and maintains the service compliance and security management of the LMS and SMS systems in line with business and regulatory requirements.
Ensures data integrity and quality of course records and reports in the LMS and SMS.
Analyses and assesses new technologies or systems in a complex corporate environment for continuous improvement and efficiency.
Maintains permissions and site management of SharePoint sites under the Operational Training Unit's (OTU) control.
Advises managers and stakeholders on configuration, system architecture and connectivity to other systems (e.g., Single Sign On).
Assists in the permissions and site management of SharePoint sites for training initiatives.
Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the following four (4) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than four (4) pages in total.
Sound knowledge of Training Systems, system integration including the management of training data preferrable in a Vocational Education and Training (VET) context.
Significant experience in the development, coordination and maintenance of a learning management system, student management system, and SharePoint with evidence of capacity to develop innovative solutions to configuration and integration.
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills to review, assess and implement new features to an LMS or SMS.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Office 365 and SharePoint to provide a secure environment with data automation.
