The Role & The Team

The main focus of this role is the accurate processing of finance related transactions, predominantly relating to payables but also focusing on receivables and reconciliation.  You will also provide expert advice to other members of your team and to Airservices employees in other teams and functions.

  • Balancing workloads and managing multiple tasks efficiently to ensure timely and precise completion.
  • Executing all necessary transactional activities to oversee payables within the procure-to-pay framework.
  • Collaborating with the Business Services team to facilitate the implementation of identified automation opportunities across transactional services. This includes contributing to the design and enhancement of processes, as well as utilizing automation tools and technology.
  • Handling intricate transactional activities and overseeing exceptions, as well as investigating and resolving any issues that arise.

The Person

Our ideal candidate will have experience working within a finance function or similar environment.  You will also be proactive problem solver - you can show initiative and at the same time mentor other team members.   In addition, you will:

  • Previous experience demonstrating the ability to manage workload priorities effectively and consistently deliver high-quality work to deadlines.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and cultivating collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in dynamic and uncertain environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies as needed.
