Transformation Specialist

Location:- Jilalan (near Mackay)

About the role:

Aurizon are seeking the expertise of a Transformation Specialist to partner with the leadership team in strategic activities to support transformation and continuous improvement within the region. Reporting to the Business Performance Leader you will work with a team of transformational specialists to ensure projects are successfully embedded. 

 The role will be accountable for:

• Leading with the identification, prioritisation and implementation of improvement activities.
• Lead the analysis of project and operational requirements, investigate innovative solutions and provide guidance to managers and employees.
• Lead and coordinate the review and reporting of initiative progress to senior management and/or stakeholders and ensure ongoing alignment with strategic objectives.
• Drive effective working relationships with customers, internal and external clients at a middle management level to ensure improvement initiatives are in keeping with wider business objectives
• Drive collaboration across functions and regions to ensure consistent application of improvement activities across the enterprise and standardise

About you: 

• You are an experienced influencer, able to connect and implement change with a range of stakeholders and environments.
• You have experience with identifying and managing risks to mitigate impact to program delivery.
• You are values driven and results focused, with the ability to coordinate resources to meet deadlines.
• High Level of interpersonal skills to communicate cross functionally. 
• Effective business acumen, strategic thinking and analytical capability.
• Ideally you will have applied process improvement methodologies.
• Ideally have knowledge in the rail industry, either operational or maintenance.
• Project management experience including PM qualifications would be well regarded
