We are looking for Transport Allocators to join our team in our shared Woolworths/Toll site in Warnervale on the Central Coast. The role of the Transport Allocator is responsible for effectively managing and organising the transport of customer's products to depots and warehouses across the required zoning. The position exists to ensure that the product is despatched in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Salary $75,000 + Super
Roster: 12-hour shifts, 5pm - 5am.
Week 1: Sunday to Tuesday
Week 2: Saturday to Tuesday
As a Transport Allocator with Toll, you will:
- Coordinate our fleet by planning and scheduling deliveries with external subcontractors & company drivers
- Ensure all of Toll's compliance and safety obligations are met
- Communicate rosters to Drivers, addressing absenteeism and supporting with any delivery and performance related issues
- Assist in determining trip feasibility based on fleet, schedule, maintenance, and drivers' availability and/or operational limitations
- Investigate and take corrective action where incidents occur that pose a potential risk to the reputation of Toll and or achievement of set KPI's relating to delivery performance
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in the Transport industry is advantageous
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of legislation, regulations and fatigue management
- High level of planning and organisational skills
- Be a great team player with the ability to influence in a positive manner
- Intermediate computer skills
