About the Role:
Bio Gro has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our Victorian team! Work in a hands-on operational role with the responsibility for supporting the safe and efficient transportation of organics. The role is also responsible for assisting in the management of contact suppliers, ensuring the suppliers used are compliant with safety systems. The key focus of the role is to support our Logistics Manager and the wider team to ensure safe and efficient delivery of transport solutions.
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Ensuring the safe use of compliant transport contractors to transport equipment for both Intra and Interstate businesses.
- Source the most cost-effective means of transport to ensure best return on investment.
- Liaise with transport providers to obtain quotations and engage services for larger scale transportation of Bio Gro product ranges within our network.
- Liaise with Fleet and Operations department to ensure timely delivery and pickup of equipment.
- Arrange and Coordinate transport moves for customers.
- Drive effective customer service to ensure continuing share of wallet.
- Effectively managing fleet availability.
- Maintaining knowledge of legislative requirements between states.
