The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and committed Transport Coordinator to join our new team at a brand new site based in Tarneit. This role will be focusing on coordinating the transportation and logistics activities to ensure the efficient movement of freight in and out of the facility.
- Coordinating schedule of inbound containers and inbound/outbound trucks in the yard
- Preparing and processing despatch manifests for drivers, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Handling inbound paperwork, verifying shipment details, and updating relevant systems for efficient inbound processing
- Managing pallet dockets, tracking and reconciling CHEP/LOSCAM pallet movements to comply with supplier agreements
- Collaborating with the customer service team to address transportation-related inquiries and providing updates to clients regarding their shipments
To be successful in this role you'll have:
- Prior experience in a similar position within the Warehousing and Logistics Industry (advantageous)
- Strong computer literacy skills and experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, preferably Blue Yonder
- Time management, planning and organisational skills
- High attention to detail & ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
