AddressCMS Management Group are looking for an experienced Transport Manager for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position,
working 38 hours per week based in Perth WA.
The Transport Manager will be responsible for the following
duties:
Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
Formulate strategic and operational objectives
Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
Manage budgets and forecasts
Organising the purchase and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment
and fuel
Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
Recruit, train and supervise staff
Find ways to increase quality of customer service
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work
experience:
Advanced Diploma or three years of relent experience
Solid knowledge of supply chain management
Experience preparing and tracking orders
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to supervise and train staff
Problem-solving abilities
