About the role
- Team Global Express is currently seeking a Transport Scheduler to join our team in Karawatha on Brisbane's South Side
- This is a FT, Permanent Role
- The successful applicant will work Sunday to Thursdays, starting at 4:30am
- You will be required to plan and co-ordinate the pickup and delivery of consignments in the most cost effective and efficient manner possible. Intrastate Linehaul load planning.
- Effective load planning and preparation of runs
- Daily Debriefing of all drivers. Addressing Poor performance and non-compliances on the spot.
- Ancillary Equipment ordering /maintenance and control.
- Compile loads to ensure most efficient use of drivers and equipment.
- Ensure that all vehicles comply with customer and freight requirements.
- Preparation of loading/unloading documentation including manifests and compliance documentation.
- Supervision of drivers to monitor and enforce general compliance with State and Federal Laws.
- Prepare and manage repairs and maintenance for company equipment.
- Participate in and contribute to operational toolbox meetings and OHS meetings.
- Load planning, ensuring utilisation targets are being met.
