Form of workTransport Supervisor
An incredible opportunity is currently available for Transport Supervisor overseeing the maintenance and day to day management of the SEQ metro Agitator Fleet, located in South East Queensland.
Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will be responsible for supervising maintenance operations with a focus on safety, eliminating downtime by implementing preventative maintenance plans.
In your new role, you will:
- Be responsible for arranging repairs and programmed Maintenance of the SEQ Fleet (Maintenance to include Truck Servicing Repairs and Bowl maintenance and concrete removal)
- Manage and review service inspections, fault reports and ensure suitable actions are taken and maintenance documentation is carried out
- Be contactable for any fleet breakdowns and undertake diagnostic tasks and root cause analysis of failures.
- Communicate with a range of contractors to prioritise and allocate maintenance and repairs to the SEQ Fleet
- Communicate with the Driver Group around availability and scheduling and rostering of trucks
- Be contactable OOH for any Emergency breakdowns and driver availability and Roster issues
- Use SAP Fleet management tools to track and record all maintenance activities
- Follow all NHVHR and Hanson Policies and procedures for Fleet management
- Facilitate any truck movements
- Liaise with Allocators, Schedulers, Plant Managers, Batchers and Drivers to schedule and undertake day to day maintenance tasks
