Support the Mackay HHS Revenue Unit in providing a quality accounts service, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts and debt management services in accordance with best practice principles and compliant with the relevant Financial Management and Audit Standards.
About the Team
The Finance Unit provides financial leadership, business advice, strategic financial policy and governance to enable Mackay HHS to deliver quality and efficient health services to the community. Finance Management consists of Financial Accounting and Management accounting. The Financial Accounting team includes Revenue, General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Assets, and Management Accounting which includes the Activity Based Funding Team and budget team.
Mackay Hospital and Health Service has six hospitals, two multi-purpose health services and four community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
