Treasury & Markets - Business Support Management

The Opportunity:

Our client is a highly regarded Global Bank with a strong international reputation and an expanding presence in Australia. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the Australian Branch Treasury Manager and COO as they expand the local team.

This newly created, dynamic role will suit a motivated Financial Markets professional wanting to expand their exposure across all aspects of Treasury and be heavily involved in a range of projects. 

Although this is a middle office role, you will support the front office extensively, acting as a first line of support and control for the trading and sales desks, and assist with new product initiatives. You will ensure efficient conduct of activities from post trade, regulatory, new business, risk and controls as well as project and vendor management.

The preferred candidate will have:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience from Treasury / Financial Markets in a Middle Office, Trade Support or Product Control capacity.
• High attention to detail
• A strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
  Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability.  
• Prior experience in Financial Services, including specific exposure to Financial Markets Products (Money Markets, FX and/or Derivatives product experience preferred).
• Tertiary Qualifications, ideally related to Finance
