THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are on the lookout for an experienced and driven Trust Account Administrator to join our growing team. As our Trust Account Administrator, your primary focus will be managing our multiple Trust Accounts throughout our Property Management side of the business and ensuring we are compliant. You will work closely with our Director of Property Management, and provide guidance and support on any Trust Account-related matter.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily banking, receipting and reconciliation of multiple Trust Accounts.
- Process mid and end of month for each state we operate in.
- Review, update and develop our Trust Accounting processes within the team.
- Provide accurate and efficient responses to any queries around receipting, banking, credits, refunds, journals or disbursements.
- Oversee the payment of Supplier Invoices.
- Assisting Property Managers with any tenant or landlord queries regarding ledgers.
- Entering and processing all tenant invoices with accuracy.
- Maintain records to ensure we comply with legislative requirements and industry standards (within all states we operate in).
- Prepare documentation and responses when required for Auditor/s.
- Undertaking any other projects, audits or requests from our Director of Property Management.
OUR CANDIDATE (aka our next Superstar):
- Previous experience in Trust Accounting
- Previous experience in Property Management (preferred)
- Experience in “IREOne” or Property Management CRM (preferred)
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills, time management and attention to detail
