Your career evolution starts here.Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Trust Accounts Officer will be responsible for the management of the firm's Trust Account and controlled money accounts for the GoldCoast office.About the Role:This 3-month contract for a Trust Accounts Officer with the opportunity to go temp to perm would be ideal for an immediately available accounting professional with prior experience dealing with Trust Accounts.Your key duties will include:
- Prepare Trust Accounts cheques, process transfers, manage receipting and enter the trust bank statement into the accounting system.
- Prepare the monthly trust bank reconciliation and ensure the statutory deposit account is maintained on a regular basis.
- Prepare the annual GoldCoast Trust Audit and maintain the firm's controlled money register.
- You will control and reconcile the petty cash
- Meet regularly with the Finance Operations Supervisor to discuss any changes or outstanding issues relating to daily Trust account operations.
- Contribute ideas and solutions for best practice development.
