The Project
Located in the Goldfields region of WA, this mining operation encompasses two underground mine sites, with one being operational and the other under development. You will enjoy working alongside an experienced team of mining professionals towards long term success at a mine site that offers the following;
- Minimum 10+ years LOM with long-term growth prospects
- 30-minute drive from site to camp
- 4G Telstra coverage
FIFO and Roster
This opportunity offers FIFO from Perth on an 8:6, Tuesday to Tuesday roster.
- Chartered flight from Perth direct to site (100% in company time)
- 30-minute drive from the airstrip to camp
- Arrive on site on day 1 around 9am
- Fly into Perth around 4:30pm on day 8
Camp, Meals & Facilities
You will enjoy staying in their purpose-built, well equipped mining camp which offers their FIFO workforce an ensuite room along with the following benefits;

The Role
Reporting to the UG Mining Superintendent, you will enjoy working in a close-knit team of experienced Underground Mining professionals. Your duties will include;-
- Contribute to monitoring of all mine activities including ventilation
- Input to the mine design, including ore reserves estimation
- Provide rolling development and planning schedules and other relevant information as required
- Communicate with the mining contractor, Shift Supervisor, crew and technical staff to develop and effectively execute mine plans and schedules
- Assist in the development of mining strategies, priorities, programs, forecasts and budgets relating to mining requirements
- Ensure mining data is maintained to a high standard including mining contract data, mine schedules, drill and blast plans, technical and other reports associated with the Company's projects and assets
- Ensure that mining activities and expenditures are maintained in line with agreed strategies, priorities, programs and budgets
- Regular underground inspections to determine compliance to plan and to identify any improvement opportunities
Your Value
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering
- At least 3 years Underground Mining operational experience in an underground hard rock environment
- Intermediate level Surpac / Deswik skills
- Mine Rescue and first aid experience desirable
- Current WA class C manual driver's licence
