About The Role

Our Mining Operators support our Underground Mining Operations by providing safe and efficient operational support across Longwall and Development so that the mines production and budgetary targets are met. We operate a variety of roster patterns including rotating mid-week and weekends.

What You’ll Do

• Operate plant and equipment where trained and authorised in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with relevant rules and procedures.
• Inspect and service equipment, and communicate the equipment status to all relevant personnel.
• Report all incidents, non-conformances, defects or hazards to the Deputy.
• Maintain the designated mine housekeeping standards.
• Participate under the direction of the Deputy in all operational tasks that you are trained and competent.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience working on a Development or Longwall Production face
• Previous experience as a Miner Driver (desired)
• First Aid Certificate
