We're searching for an Undergrounds Construction Manager who is dedicated to their craft and looking for a company who can provide long term tenure. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects across Perth Metropolitan.
The role:
You will be responsible for supporting the underground construction crews on each worksite so that activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and effectively.
- Monitor Quality control of internal and sub contract crews
- Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and governing body standards
- Assist with resourcing Plant, labour and subcontractors associated with underground construction
- Liaise with clients representatives and governing bodies such as Water Corp, Atco gas and Local authorities
- Assist with the development and training of junior underground employees
Essential:
- Experience supervising land development/undergrounds/pavements and earthworks projects for at least 5 years
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Direct supervision with excellent communication skills
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Commitment to OSH
- Construction White Card
- Drivers Licence
- Pass a pre-employment medical
- Have permanent work rights in Australia
