Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle underwriting inquiries, ensuring adherence to established systems and processes.
• Utilise your in-depth product knowledge to guide inquiries to the appropriate department, demonstrating your dedication to risk management.
• Collaborate closely with senior team members, learning from their expertise and executing delegated tasks with precision.
• Maintain accurate data in our internal CRM system and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Offer support to colleagues and managers, embodying the values of teamwork and collaboration.
• Ensure all referrals are up to date and within service level agreements.
• Cover referrals and broker calls during periods of absence.
• Make recommendations to expand underwriting guidelines and acceptance criteria.
• Provide guidance and coaching to customer service officers.
• Process assigned work accurately and timely.
• Improve operational systems, processes, and policies to support long-term goals.
• Use commercial considerations when underwriting.
