About the role

Based at our beautiful Charles Brownlow Retirement Village in Highton, you will use the latest technology - including our own purpose-built care app - and all your nursing and people skills to:
- Ensure compassionate and excellent quality care is provided to all residents
- Coordinate, motivate and develop your team
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Provide support to your Clinical Manager
We have a couple of full-time roles available as the Nurse Unit Manager within both High Care and Dementia Care units.
Dementia Care: Sunday to Thursday 0700 - 1500
High Care: Tuesday to Saturday 0800 - 1600 (flexible on the weekend day should Sunday fit your lifestyle better!)
About you
To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in-charge or within a previous nursing leadership role. Given the specialist knowledge required to manage these units, High Care or Dementia Care experience is a must!
- The ability to lead, share knowledge and motivate your team
- Knowledge on dementia specific behaviours or high care practices and ability to manage differing care needs effectively
- Have sound understanding of the Aged Care Standards
- Kindness, compassion and drive to deliver first class care to our residents
