About the Role
An exciting opportunity has opened up to join our rapidly expanding team as a Full Time Care Organiser based in our Echuca office.
The primary purpose of the position is to manage and to support the effective delivery of Uniting AgeWell Home Care programs. This includes managing client and Home Care Workers (HCW) rosters for optimal service delivery, maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, responding to client’s enquiries, and supporting the client’s journey to enhance their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately maintain and coordinate schedules and rostering requests linking our care staff with our clients
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and/or their carers to ensure their care needs are being provided in a timely and quality manner
- Proactively identify and address rostering challenges, scheduling conflicts, and find solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
- Match client needs and preferences with our employees’ skills, and availability
- Action and document phone calls and/or communication relating to scheduling, including but not limited to sick call, rostering issues, change request, client enquiries
- Communicate roster changes to clients and care staff effectively
- Apply a continuous improvement approach to Uniting AgeWell’s service delivery
About You
You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our clients to support them to live life to their potential whilst remaining in their home.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Previous administrative experience in creating & maintaining rosters in the Community Services or the Aged Care Sector (desirable)
- Experience and knowledge in Commonwealth Supported Home Care Packages (desirable)
- Experience using client management systems
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach to your work
- You will thrive in a fast paced and varied environment and have the ability to multi-task between phone calls, emails and scheduling
- Are highly organised with strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities and excellent time management
- Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
