A large financial services organisation is seeking a UNIX Technical Lead to join their team on a permanent basis.
Joining a small, collaborative and supportive team, you will work on a 24/7 roster and be responsible for the Level 3 support, management and maintenance of their UNIX platform including triaging during incidents as well as managing upgrades. A number of business critical payments applications sit on this UNIX platform and this team is key to ensure the performance and high availability of the platform.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications
- Advanced knowledge and experience supporting UNIX within large, complex environments
- Demonstrated experience supporting payments systems
- Previous experience using Splunk as a monitoring tool is highly regarded
- Superior troubleshooting, problem solving and incident response skills, with a proven ability to take ownership of incidents and manage to successful resolution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with excellent documentation skills
