The City of Fremantle is currently seeking to appoint a suitably experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Urban Forest Officer to join our Urban Forest Service Team. You will be a passionate team player that has a genuine interest in caring for and growing the City’s Trees.
Key responsibilities include:- Assist in the effective implementation of street and reserve tree planting and maintenance programs.
- Provide a high standard of courteous and efficient service to internal and external customers and stakeholders.
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in arboriculture, horticulture or other relevant discipline.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, mobile field technology and to manage task specific information and technology systems.
- Ability to operate as an effective and productive team member.
- A current WA ‘C’ class driver’s licence.
