The role: The Vasectomy Coordinator will join our Clinical Operations team in assisting in the management and coordination of 28 External Vasectomy Clinics and Day Hospitals. Reporting to the Senior Medical Operations Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and the Vasectomy Director in order to support clients accessing Vasectomy Services through "External Vasectomy Clinics". You will have high regard for the integrity of medical records, quality data and client confidentiality. As a point of contact for our clients, customer service skills are focal to the role. You will also be an excellent communicator, have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to problem-solve, attention to detail and computer competencies.
Hours of work: 8am - 4pm or 9am -5pm, based from our Gold Coast location in Varsity Lakes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with Vasectomy list coordination for 28 external Clinics/Day Hospitals
Liaise with external providers to ensure adherence to MSI External Vasectomyprocesses and list management
Liaise with Director of Vasectomy regarding list & Vasectomy Doctor updates
Liaise with National Contact Centre regarding implementation of Vasectomy listschanges, Doctor changes, and client changes.
Manage all National Contact Centre client enquiries pertaining to ExternalVasectomy clients
Liaise with ISTP regarding program issues or changes
Assist with any External Vasectomy billing enquiries
Conduct Manual Billing and Medicare claiming for External Vasectomy Day Hospital and Medical Clinics
Auditing External Vasectomy lists to ensure external staff adherence financial &medical record management
Reviewing monthly invoice reporting
Coordinate and organise all Vasectomy pre-assessment appointments
Assist in formalising processes & procedures in line with organisational changes
Liaise with external pathology providers to ensure pathology is streamlined across all External Vasectomy Services
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A Pro-choice advocate;
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Strong computer data entry skills
Proficiency in Office 365 and general computer skills
Effective time management and prioritisation skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently, whilst effectively communicating with a range ofclinicians, other medical services, pharmacy staff and clients
A friendly and non-judgemental demeanour
Knowledge of CareRight & Halaxy patient management systems
