We’re looking for a Venue Manager to lead the charge on change for Dandelion’s next season – an energetic individual wanting to put their stamp on a venue alongside our Head Office team.
The Venue Manager will be our master conductor, managing systems, processes, policies, and your team – shaping service style and driving our function offerings.
What You'll Be Doing as Our Venue Manager:
- Champion the front-of-house operations, ensuring a seamless experience for our patrons.
- Devise and execute strategies to boost revenue and streamline costs.
- Guarantee that the venue operates in full compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Recruit, train, inspire, and oversee your front-of-house team.
- Manage inventory and handle supply orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with the Functions Coordinator to host memorable events.
- Nurture strong relationships with the front-of-house team, kitchen staff, customers, suppliers, and vendors.
- Assist the marketing team in creating and executing engaging marketing and promotional activities.
Your Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role
- A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service, coupled with a deep understanding of current trends in food, beer, wine, and spirits.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
- Expertise in inventory management, cost control, and budgeting.
- The stamina and endurance required for a bustling work environment.
- Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate, an Approved Manager's card and ideally First Aid Certificate
