SalaryTrader House, one of Australia's most established hospitality groups, is looking for a Venue Manager for its fine dining flagship restaurant Cutler & Co.
About us:
Trader House is a collective of restaurants, bars, specialty retail stores and tailored events by Melbourne-based chef, cookbook author and columnist Andrew McConnell and photographer Jo McGann. They are Gimlet at Cavendish House, Apollo Inn, Cutler & Co., Supernormal, Cumulus Inc., Marion, Builders Arms Hotel, Meatsmith Heritage Butcher, Morning Market and Handmade Parties & Events.
About the role:
With progress comes change, and with it, an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced manager to oversee the operations of a landmark business. Cutler & Co. was an immediate success upon opening and remains a beacon of quality hospitality at the best address northside.
In the 2024 Age Good Food Guide, Cutler & Co. retained two hats – testament to the quality and consistency of the venue. You’ll be working alongside an incredible kitchen brigade, professional and warm front of house, and one of the city’s top wine programs - Cutler & Co. was awarded the best wine list in Victoria in the 2022 Wine List of the Year Awards. This is a rare opportunity to oversee a benchmark venue within a thriving neighbourhood.
We are in search of the best, a manager with the vision to drive the business, provide training and development for their team, and to lead the experience for our guests. This is an opportunity for an experienced, passionate and career-focused leader with a background in high quality dining.

Central to this role is the ability to drive our team through an innovative and strategic long-term approach to training, recruitment and leadership. An ability to meet financial targets while delivering world class food and beverage programs is also crucial.
