About the Role
As the Venue Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing operations at a high-volume venue located in the North-Western suburbs of Melbourne. This role will require a hands-on approach, where you will manage the bustling bistro, gaming area, and function spaces in collaboration with the General Manager. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the success of the bistro and gaming operations.
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role you will possess the following;
- Manage day-to-day operations of all venue areas
- Event coordination experience essential
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue and enhance customer experience
- Strong financial acumen, rostering, forecasting, P&L
- Recruit, train, and manage a large team of staff
- Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and service
- RSA and RCG certification essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience in senior venue management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
