About the Role
We’re looking for someone who thrives on customer service, leads by example and takes pride in positively contributing to a workplace atmosphere.

Also worth mentioning, that whilst we have a strong focus on beer, we also value spirit, cocktail and wine knowledge!
As the Venue Manager you’ll ensure the smooth operation of the venue’s activities such as:
- Leadership and development of the team,
- Rostering of all venue staff.
- Ensure high level quality of customer service, food, and beverage.
- Maintain business and venue budgets.
- Management of recruiting all venue staff.
- Maintain good relationships with patrons, clients, and suppliers.
- Maintain high operational focus in areas of WHS, RSA compliance.
- Actively manage social media account.
- Ensure accuracy and security of daily cash reconciliation and banking.
- Sourcing and booking entertainment for the venue.
- Understand the importance of systems and processes within a hospitality and brewpub environment.
- Have had a high level of experience in hospitality environments.
- Have a strong understanding and knowledge of craft beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails (we also provide training; both in house and from the various local producers we work with)
- Have a proven track record in a similar role in managing teams in a bar or restaurant setting.
- Be RSA qualified – this is essential. Holding an RMLV is also highly regarded for this role.
- Lead by example, be hands-on with a strong focus on customer service, experience, and results.
- Be available to work a roster including weekends and evenings (opening & closing routines); and
- Be efficient and adaptable with the ability to think on your feet.
