Requirements4. RESPONSIBILITIES (What you deliver)
Responsibility for monthly financial close and preparation of monthly Vessel Reports
Responsibility for necessary accruals
Responsibility for comparing actuals vs budget/forecast
Responsibility for analysing and commenting over-/under budget with input from the Vessel Team
Responsibility for following up, reconciling and documenting “operational balance accounts”
Responsibility for preparation of Vessel budget and forecast together with Fleet Team
Responsibility for raising customer invoices, reimbursable invoices and intercompany invoices as per contractual agreements. Follow-up of overdue receivables towards clients and if needed internal escalation within the Fleet team
Responsibility for ensuring accounting transactions are posted, up to date and in accordance with Group standards·
DUTIES
Tasks can include, but are not limited to:
Support the Fleet team withfollow-up, analysis, commenting and communication of deviations between budget/forecast and actuals
Support the Fleet Team with Vessel Cost analyses and challenging OPEX and CAPEX spend
Support the Fleet team with follow up of dockings.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Preferred but not mandatory)
Education:
University Degree or similar with Bachler/Master within Economics/Finance/Accounting or similar. Experience can compensate for the lack of formal education
Experience / Knowledge:
Proficient in English
Good Knowledge in Information Technology (IT)
Previous experience with financial modules on ERP systems is a plus
