We are privately owned and pride ourselves in compassion, quality and affordable veterinary services. We are a small animal practice offering general consults, medical workups, general surgery, major soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. With 6 veterinarians on staff, and a visiting orthopaedic specialist to compliment our own onsite orthopaedic surgeons, we offer most surgical procedures. We have a great team that understand the veterinary industry and support network we all need. Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 12 months experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or nurse
- Passionate about quality care and patient and client experience
- Resilient and ability to adapt
- Ability to think on your feet
- Enjoy working in a busy practice
- Mastered customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- General receptionist tasks
Tasks & responsibilities
- Welcoming each and every client with your warm smile and compassion
- Escalate and triage clients over the phone and on arrival as needed
- Book consultation appointments and surgical bookings and respond to emails
- Communicate and prioritise tasks within the reception team, veterniarians and nurses
- Manage OTC and reception office stock
- Advise clients on OTC food and products including parasite prevention
- Maintain a clean environment at reception and waiting areas
