Visitor Experience & Marketing Team Leader

• Permanent Full Time - operating on a 7 day a week roster
• Located at the Port Fairy Visitor Information Centre

We are currently seeking an experienced applicant to lead our fantastic team at the Port Fairy and Region Visitor Information Centre.

The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations at the Centre as well as assisting with the shire wide marketing strategy for the centre.

To be successful in this position you will need:

Qualifications

Essential 

Current drivers licence

A degree or diploma qualification in tourism development, marketing / public relations or business management or a related discipline, or substantial demonstrated relevant experience.

KSC 1 Ability to supervise staff and volunteers and set priorities to ensure the timely and accurate completion of specific tasks and projects.KSC 2Ability to think laterally and provide innovative responses and recommendations to achieve entrepreneurial outcomes for Council and partners based on research and consultation.KSC 3Demonstrated ability to make connections within our community and key stakeholders for collaborative approaches in marketing and promotion opportunities and associated product development projectsKSC 4Knowledge of visitor information distribution channels and techniques and demonstrated skill to develop and implement new, innovative techniques.
