About Toowoomba Hospital Foundation
First established in 1991, Toowoomba Hospital Foundation (THF) raises funds to support Darling Downs Health by providing medical equipment, resources, facility enhancements, patient programs, staff training and development, and research across 29 hospitals and health service facilities.
About the role
As the Visual Communications Officer, you will create Visual Communications in line with the values and brand guidelines of the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation and all associated companies/entities. You will maintain the brand integrity and respected reputation of THF across all printed and digital collateral.
This role is based in Toowoomba, Qld.
Key Responsibilities
- To create visual communication that accurately represents the values of THF, that can be utilised for general marketing for both THF and Wellbean Co, including but not limited to: printed collateral, promotional activation, outdoor media, signage, direct mail, advertising, point of sale, presentations and other print material for use both in house and externally;
- Apply design across digital assets including website, web applications, advertising, e newsletters, mailouts, banners, social media and other digital media;
- Develop and maintain consistent branding across all print and digital media;
- Development and maintenance of print and digital design style guide;
- Maintain advanced knowledge of design platforms and software;
- Organise collection of goods and printed materials from suppliers;
- Liaise with suppliers/partners to stay current with new available promotional material
- Basic knowledge of videography including video editing;
- Photo editing skills with proficiency in software like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrated the following skills:
- High level of oral and written communication skills (including grammar, spelling and formatting) and the ability to write content relevant to a wide variety of mediums using the right tone for the context to gain maximum impact;
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite including strong typing skills;
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and ability to build rapport quickly with others in a professional manner;
- High level attention to detail and accuracy;
- Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage your own time within tight timeframes;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines when required;
- Ability to follow policies and procedures with a strong focus on quality control;
- Ability to problem solve and generate workable solutions in a team environment;
- Current driver’s licence
- Formal qualifications in graphic, photography or videography will be highly regarded
