A great opportunity exists for a self-driven, experienced Pharmacy Technician to join the NSW State-wide Voluntary Assisted Dying Pharmacy Service (VAD-PS). This position would suit a technician that has experience in providing a high-level Pharmacy Service. The successful applicant will hold their Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support or equivalent. What you'll be doing
The VAD-PS Technician will support VAD-PS team members to ensure the smooth functioning of the VAD-PS dispensary. Responsibilities include providing high-level technical support for daily activities including dispensing and stock management. The technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficient operation of the dispensary, under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Pharmacy Technician Certificate IV in Hospital Health Pharmacy Support or equivalent qualification deemed appropriate by the employer.
- Demonstrated experience working in a specialised pharmacy field with an understanding of NSW medicines legislation, regulations and clinical terminology (e.g. sterile production unit, clinical trials department).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
- Proven organisational and time management skills and ability to prioritise workflow as well as complete tasks independently with minimal supervision and direction.
