Job Description
In this permanent part time role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient unit opperations and excellence in customer service to all patients, visitors, medical staff and unit staff. Providing care to patients with various illnesses or injuries; the Unit has a friendly and dynamic team energy. You will report into the Nurse Unit Manager.
You will make an impact by:
- Supporting the nursing team with smooth and efficient administration management.
- Supporting the Nurse Unit Manager with team administration requirements
- Managing medical records.
- Timely management of the patient management system for patient flow (admissions, discharges, etc).
To be successful in this role:
You will bring your communication and interpersonal skills along with your excellent organisational and time management skills and preferably previous clerical/administration experience in a hospital environment.
You will have:
- Previous medical administration experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with patient information systems
- Excellent customer service skills
