HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER
IWC is seeking a full-time Human Resource Manager to join our growing organisation.
ABOUT IWC:
IWC is an Aboriginal community-controlled and multi-accredited health and wellbeing organisation. We deliver services without discrimination to Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Bundaberg and the Wide Bay Burnett.

DUTIES:
- Oversee recruitment, including job description review, advertising approval, screening of candidates, recommendations for interview, and related processes.
- Provide advice and recommendations to Executive Management for action of recruitment, probation review, internal investigation, and disciplinary action.
- Record Management of personnel files, training, and contractual agreements.
- Accomplish special projects as identified by Executive Management and evaluation of optimal course of action for implementation.
- WorkCover and return to work plans for employee rehabilitation. Non-work-related injury management of suitable duties.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrated experience working in Human Resource Management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- High level of confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- A current driver's licence or ability to obtain.
- A First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.
- A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain.
- A Blue Card (Working with Children Card QLD)* or ability to obtain.
* No Card, No Start legislation means that the successful applicant will need to hold a valid blue card before they start work. IWC will cover the cost of this application for the successful candidate.
SALARY PACKAGE:
Your Salary Package is made up of the following: -
- Salary Sacrifice Packaging valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding approximately $4,000 to your take-home pay (available after completion of probation).
- Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,600 per annum (available after completion of probation).
- 9-Day Fortnight (for full-time staff).
- Superannuation valued at 11%.
- Annual Leave Loading of 17.5%
