About the role - The Warehouse Administration and Inventory Controller role will support the Warehouse Manager & broader warehouse team to, manage, receive, and dispatch stock from the company's Pinkenba-based storage facility. In addition, this role is responsible for warehouse space & Inventory planning, management and reporting requirements in order to maintain the minimum stock levels & expiry dates to inform warehouse operations & procurement. The role is fixed-term until 30th June 2024, with a view to extend.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately perform tasks related to the receipt, and dispatch of stock.
Update & Maintain WMS databases, files, reports and records for all relevant information relating inbound and outbound stores.
Ensure Warehousing documentation and management systems are complete, accurate, current and of high quality.
Ensure the accurate and timely completion, processing and filing of all warehousing paperwork.
Plan stock locations and consolidations based on incoming stores as informed by Procurement and Partners.
Report and solve inventory discrepancies, including warehouse storage locations.
In consultation with the Warehouse Manager, plan and execute blind stocktakes, cycle counts and ad-hoc stock checks.
Support the Warehouse Manager to review, update and implement procedures relating to all warehouse, administrative and Inventory Management activities. (Continuous Improvement)
Carry out duties in accordance with Palladium's logistic, contractual, procedural, legislative and safety procedures, and supervisor direction.
Ensure that all warehouse activities adhere to WHS legislation and ensure a clean & tidy workspace is maintained.
Operate mechanical handling equipment, such as forklifts and reach trucks, and warehouse plant if required to support during high workload/response periods.
About You
Relevant qualification in supply chain, logistics and/or warehousing
Extensive experience working in a similar position within warehousing administration and inventory and control
Relevant High Risk Works license for operation of mechanical handling equipment (forklift and reach truck).
Certificate in WHS, preferred
Inventory Analytics Training
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and WMS.
Ability to undertake industry training were required.
