About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join our expanding team. This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, managing inventory, and collaborating with other departments to optimise our operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure MCA’s continued compliance with Australian regulations for medicines in schedules 2, 3, 4, and 8.
- To further develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for operational efficiency.
- Manage logistics and distribution channels.
- Maintain accurate records and safe handling of inbound and outbound orders.
- Safe handling and transportation of items within and around the facility.
- Maintain control measures of items in quarantine or reject areas.
- Maintain accurate stock levels electronically.
- Conduct stock-taking activities.
- Monitor goods expiration dates.
- Maintain meticulous records of all goods transactions.
- Monitor, Manage and implement security protocols for sensitive products.
- Train and mentor junior warehouse staff.
- Coordinate with operations teams for seamless workflows.
- Loading and unloading trucks safely and in accordance with Good Work Health & Safey Practices (WH&S)
- Control and inspection of incoming goods.
- Adherence to storage requirements to prevent degradation.
- Housekeeping of warehouse areas.
- Documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
- Adhere to personal hygiene standards.
Role type:
- Permanent Part-Time with a view to Full-Time
- Warehouse location in Blue Mountains, NSW
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 4 years of warehouse experience with 2 years in a management role.
- Strong analytical skills for process improvement.
- Proven ability to build and maintain a positive operations culture with an emphasis on teamwork.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Current forklift and driver’s license (A MUST).
- Current Unrestricted Driver’s License.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting in accordance with WH&S guidelines.
- Have full working rights in Australia.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 7.30 AM - 4 PM TBA
