Position Overview
As a Warehouse Coordinator, your primary role involves ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing processes. Your duties will extend from the meticulous handling of goods—covering receipt, organisation, and inventory management—to the effective coordination of job schedules in the factory.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, Verifying, and accurate documentation of incoming deliveries.
- Organisation and oversight of factory job schedules to optimise production flow.
- Rigorous inspection and documentation of all received goods.
- Safely storing materials in their designated locations and maintaining a well-organized, clean warehouse
- Conducting regular inventory checks and stock control initiatives.
- Coordination with suppliers and transport services to rectify any issues or delays.
- Assistance in the loading and unloading of materials using the necessary equipment.
- Strict adherence to established safety standards and protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in a similar capacity, particularly within a manufacturing environment and preferably in the kitchen sector.
- A valid forklift operator license would be advantageous.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items.
- Basic computing skills for inventory and job box creation.
