Warehouse Coordinator

The Opportunity

Myofunctional Research Co. is a worldwide dental appliance supplier and education provider based in Australia's Gold Coast. With a physical presence in Asia, Europe and USA, and a network of dealers and distributors in respective regions, we cater for the commercial market, as well as public and private health professionals. 

Established in 1989, we continue to experience rapid growth and require the assistance of a Warehouse Coordinator  in our Gold Coast office to support our operations team. This role will focus on inventory management and warehouse organisation. 

Main Tasks and Experience 

Core objectives include:  

• Assist with daily operations of warehouse and shipping department ensuring optimal service.
• Comply with quality and regulatory requirements and follow our standard operating procedures.  
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment.  
• Ensure full traceability of all dispatched medical devices.  
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers.  
• Work with the purchasing team to manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels.  
• Assist in development of new inventory software.  
• Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.  
• Stock rotation and consolidation.  

Essential: 

• Warehousing and logistics experience, medical device industry is an advantage.
• Understanding of product quality assurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Highly Regarded:

• Experience with international logistics and customs regulations.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485:2016 Medical Devices.
• Knowledge in inventory management software.
• Leadership skills. 

Workplace Conditions

The Warehouse Coordinator will work in a warehouse environment and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting. This role may require lifting of heavy items and extended periods of standing.
