O’Neills Sportswear, with over 100 years of experience, is a market leader in teamwear apparel in Europe across a wide range of sports. O'Neills is rapidly expanding its operations within the Australian market, at both grassroots and Pro Team level. This role is a fantastic opportunity to join our Australian team within a long-established company in an exciting and innovative industry.
Based at our warehouse in Wayville and reporting directly to our Director, this permanent full-time position is a varied hands on role focusing on the successful receipt, organisation, tracking, picking, packing and delivery of our products, ensuring the premium experience of our customers and the safety of our staff and our stock.
Working in our warehouse facility with undercover, modern racking, you will manage the warehouse team.
The Role
In this role, duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and oversee daily operations of the warehouse, including the warehouse equipment and facility, stock management system and team members.
- Preparing and implementing plans to manage the high frequency stock cycle
- Ensuring effective management of all deliveries to our customer base
- Coordinating with all business departments to investigate/resolve any client concerns
- Directing the inventory team ensuring quality control of all incoming goods and implementing of inventory control initiatives
- Proactively manage the Occupational Health and Safety Standards within the business.
- Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to meet business supply requirements
- Recording systems to track all movements of supplies and goods, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times
- Monitor activity, and identify and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Report on operations as needed
- Recommend improved operating policies and processes to reflect best practices within the business.
Skills & Knowledge
The below skills and attributes will be essential in carrying out this role:
- Experience managing a team in a warehouse environment.
- Be physically fit to handle repetitive heavy lifting up to 20 kgs.
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to change coupled with effective time management.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams)
- Integrity, trustworthiness, professionalism and a customer-centric approach to problem solving.
Located in Wayville, you will be working full-time 7.00am-3.30pm Monday - Thursday, 7.00am-1.00pm Friday.
